Visitor Alert – COVID-19 UPDATE – November 24, 2020

Masks now mandatory in B.C. health-care facilities.

“NORTHERN HEALTH ENCOURAGES PEOPLE TO BE VIGILANT AS COVID CASES RISE. Non-essential travel is being discouraged at this time and residents should ensure they are following current orders, guidance, and advice. New orders include; Mandatory face mask-wearing in ALL public and retail spaces. When planning your holiday gathering, please avoid travel and choose to celebrate with individuals in your household. All patients must wear a mask (not a scarf/bandana) over their mouth and nose to enter the building (unless a very young child under the age of 2)   To keep our patients, families, and staff safe and in keeping with the provincial health officer’s recommendations for social distancing we have reduced office hours and will be limiting the number of patients entering our office. To enforce this, the office has locked the front doors and is allowing access to patients by assessing patient needs case by case (pick-ups, etc). You must call our office to see if arrangements can be made (250)562-1305. Our reduced office hours are Monday to Friday 9-3. Closed Saturdays.   This is a constantly changing situation, so we will be keeping our website updated as new information becomes available. Please keep safe, practice social distancing, and if at all possible stay at home.   If you are concerned about your health, please call Health Link at 8-1-1 anytime.   Thank you for your understanding and cooperation during this difficult time.
